Loveland SERTOMA Club Charitable Giving Guidelines
A. Purpose
The Loveland SERTOMA Club, as a community service organization, devotes its charitable giving toward specific activities that provide a direct benefit within the Loveland area. The Loveland SERTOMA Club will, as a matter of policy, consider any requests for funding, but will tend to concentrate its resources within the following areas:

• Programs benefiting communication disorders
• Organized youth athletic programs
• Programs benefiting the disadvantaged, elderly, or handicapped

Within these areas, preference will be given to those programs in which the use of SERTOMA funds provides a discrete and recognizable benefit.

B. Eligibility
Any organization or program serving the needs of the Loveland community and its residents may be considered for funding. Requests from individuals are generally discouraged, but may be accepted from time to time if the Board of Directors determines unusual merit or benefit.

C. Amount of Funding
The Loveland SERTOMA Club will entertain requests for funding up to $1000. However, requests in the $100-$500 range will have a greater likelihood of approval. Any organization requesting funding greater than $250 may be invited to present their program at a regular membership meeting.

D. Application Procedures
All requests for funding will be accompanied by a completed application form. Additional supporting documentation is encouraged. Applications will be considered on a monthly basis, with a submission deadline of the first of any month for consideration during that month.

E. Review Procedures
Requests for funding will be screened by the Board of Directors for action. The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis.
